LANGLEY, B.C. – The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is looking into a suspicious death at a Langley hotel.
Langley RCMP responded on Friday afternoon to the hotel, where a man was found deceased in one of the rooms.
Police determined the death was suspicious and IHIT was brought in to investigate.
On Tuesday, IHIT said 36-year-old Kevin Brunelle was discovered Thursday in an alley behind the hotel with injuries that may been sustained during an assault.
He was helped back to his room in the hotel where he lived and worked. No one checked in on him until Friday afternoon when he was found deceased.
Anyone with information on what happened to Brunelle is asked to contact IHIT at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or email at ihittipline@rcmp-grc.gc.ca .
