SYDNEY MINES, N.S. – A Cape Breton man is facing several charges in connection with a drug store robbery Friday morning.
Police say at about 5 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at a drug store in downtown Sydney Mines.

Police say the window had been smashed and a large quantity of methadone had been stolen.
At about 11 p.m., a 29-year-old man was arrested in Sydney Mines and a bag containing the majority of the stolen drugs was seized.
The man faces several charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and break and enter.
