MONTREAL – Two people are in hospital following a fight over a possible love triangle, according to Montreal police.
Officers received a 911 call around 11 p.m. Thursday on Saint-André Street, between Rachel Street and Duluth Avenue in Montreal’s Plateau borough.
“It was a conflict between three people, two men and one woman,” said Manuel Couture with Montreal police.

“During the altercation, one of the men stabbed the other man, aged 27, in his upper body and then he fled the scene.”
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries and his life is not in danger.
The woman was also taken to hospital to be treated for shock and injuries to her lower body.
Investigators are on the scene.
