WINNIPEG — Fire crews are battling a blaze in the city’s West End Wednesday morning.
The blaze sparked around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday on the 1300 block of Alexander Avenue near Weston.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the home just before 7 a.m.
All occupants in the home managed to escape and there are no injuries, however two house cats are still unaccounted for.
There is no word on what started the blaze or the cost of damage at this time.
