“Helo made a lasting impression as the very vocal puppy, who had plenty so say,” RCMP say in the release.

RCMP say Helo was being monitored, but as with many puppies, they get into everything and often eat things they aren’t supposed to.

Anyone who wishes to pay their condolences to Helo can do so on the Nova Scotia RCMP Facebook page, or by tweeting with the hashtag #RIPHelo.

Helo died at the Atlantic Veterinary College
