Officers went door-to-door to ask residents if they saw or heard anything out of the ordinary Monday night. Police also checked in with local hospitals, but Leathem said no one was admitted with gunshot wounds.

Police would like to speak with the occupants of a white or silver VW Jetta and a pick-up truck that were seen in the area Monday night.

The incident is still under investigation.

Police were also called to a report of shots fired on the city’s north side later Monday night, but it’s not known if the two incidents are connected.
