On Tuesday, staff launched a $40 for 40 Years fundraising campaign, which is a one-time donation to mark the milestone. The money will help fund child-friendly renovations inside the shelter.

“We are very grateful for the support we have received from funders, sponsors, and individual donors from the founding of the shelter up to today,” said Tracy Kuhtz, president of the Regina Transition House’s board of directors.

The women’s shelter has had to adapt over the years and continues to do so today. In an effort to reach more people in Saskatchewan, Regina Transition House created a Facebook and Twitter page.
