Montreal musicians launch video to help cure childhood cancer

MONTREAL – Musician Ryan Burton, a member of the former Montreal band, I.C.Red – successful in Quebec in the 1990s – is launching a collaborative project to raise awareness and money to help cure childhood cancer.

Burton has a very personal reason for doing this, as his 3-year old stepdaughter was diagnosed with leukemia.

Along with VANN, his singer/songwriting partner from I.C. Red, and Will Turpin from the band Collective Soul, Burton has written and recorded a song called “Sometimes You Gotta Fight.”

The video release marks the launch an international movement to help cure childhood cancer by raising funds and awareness for the CURE Childhood Cancer foundation, a national non-profit organization based in Atlanta.

All proceeds from downloads go directly to childhood cancer research and saving the lives of children.
