A fog advisory has ended for the Greater Toronto Area.
Environment Canada says some areas experienced “near zero visibility” as dense fog moved through the region Wednesday morning.
The weather office had advised motorists to allow extra time due to hazardous conditions and reduced visibility.
Toronto Pearson airport officials said there were a number of flight delays due to the fog and travellers were reminded to check their flight status prior to heading to the terminal.
