REGINA – The Civic Museum of Regina will soon have a better idea of what their future holds. On Tuesday, they reviewed the first draft of a sustainable business plan they will soon present to the city. The plan contains three potential models.

“There’s still the static museum where it’s something you go to there’s also contemporary museums and even an eco-museum, where we maybe go out and the museum is spread throughout the city,” said Civic Museum president Rob Deglau.

“So those are all the different things we’re talking about and that’s what we’ll be submitting to the city.”

The money is split into two parts; with $25,000 for developing a new business plan and $60,000 to cover expenses for the rest of 2015.

Deglau said he believes they will be submitting their final draft to the city on Dec. 31. The plan will then go to city council who will vote on a future direction for the museum.
