A 20-year-old man who agreed to be sentenced as an adult has received a life sentence for first-degree murder after killing a couple while they slept. Genne and Teresa Nolin were found dead in their Rapid View, Sask. home in October 2012.

The then 17-year-old and his 14-year-old accomplice snuck into the farm house where they shot and killed the Nolins.

During the trial the court viewed a video of the man telling RCMP that the motive for the crime was to get money for drugs.
