KELOWNA–December 20 is expected to be the busiest travel day of the year at Kelowna International Airport, as passengers scramble to make it home for the holidays.
Travelers are finding line-ups at check-in, at security and even to buy coffee.
More than 100 thousand passengers are expected to pass through the doors during the holiday season.
Airport staff is advising people to arrive at least 90 minutes before boarding time for domestic flights and at least two hours before boarding time for international flights.
Parking is at a premium over the holidays, so people might also want to consider being dropped off.
