Fraser Institute ranks 14 public schools as fastest improving

It’s good news for B.C.’s public schools, which seem to be improving according to the Fraser Institute’s annual secondary school report card.

Coming in off the top, private schools York House, Crofton House and Little Flower Academy.

The top B.C. public school is University Hill in the 15th spot, followed by Lord Byng in the 18th spot – both are located on Vancouver’s Westside.

Fourteen public schools scored among the fastest improving schools, including Doctor Charles Best in Coquitlam, named as the fastest improving school over the past five years.

The Fraser report card combines results for Grade 10, 11, and 12 province wide tests to produce the overall rating.
