The city says the cause of the outage was an underground fault to a mainline feeder. The fault occurred between 1 and 3 Avenue South on Scenic Drive.

The outage started at approximately 7:00 p.m.   A portion of the outage was fixed an hour later, power was fully restored shortly after 9:00 p.m.

Work to fully repair the damaged continued Thursday afternoon.
