Police seize car believed to be involved in Sask. homicide

Mounties say they have seized a car that may have played a role in a homicide. Troy Napope, 23, was reported missing to police on June 6.

He was last seen at a house party in Prince Albert, Sask. on May 27 or 28.

His burned-out car was found just north of the city on the morning of May 28.

On Nov. 28, police announced they believed Napope was the victim of foul play and were now treating his disappearance as a homicide.

Investigators say tips from the public led them to identify and seize a white 1982 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that they believe may have played a role in Napope’s death.

Police would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the car on May 27 or 28 or who may have any information that will assist with the investigation. They can be contacted at 306-975-8952 or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
