The muslide knocked out a power transmission line and that has cut electricity to about 3,800 hydro customers.

BC Hydro spokesman Dag Sharman says the transmission line feeds power to Sicamous and Malakwa.

Drive BC says when the highway does reopen, the confidence level will be low. (CHNL)
