“The Saskatchewan Roughriders have accepted Greg Quick’s resignation in order to allow him to pursue other football opportunities. Quick spent the 2015 season as the Riders defensive coordinator.

Under Quick in 2015 the Riders defence was the worst in the CFL in a number of categories:

Points Allowed – 563 (9th)
Yards Allowed – 7,205 (9th)
Sacks – 34 (9th)
Interceptions – 10 (9th)

There has been no news of a replacement and its unlikely a new coordinator will be named before the general manager and head coach situations are resolved.
