WINNIPEG — The Assiniboine Park Zoo’s professional football analyst has predicted that the Edmonton Eskimos will take the Grey Cup home after Sunday’s game. That professional analyst is 5-year-old polar bear Storm.

During Saturday’s Breakfast with the Bears event at the Journey to Churchill the bear made an educated guess of which team would win by tackling one of two cardboard ‘football players’ decked out in the teams jersey.

Storm went for the Edmonton Eskimos player, predicting the cup would head back to Edmonton for the first time in 10 years.

The accuracy of the prediction might be brought into question based on Edmonton’s team name and because Edmonton’s mascot is another polar bear, Nanook.
