A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Burnaby.
It happened on Willingdon Avenue yesterday — just south of Kingsway.

RCMP say an elderly man was hit and died at the scene.
The car’s driver stayed on-scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the accident.
The busy route was closed for most of the afternoon commute, but it has since reopened.
