Workers are protesting negotiation tactics by Montreal Director General Alain Marcoux, as well as the use of sub-contractors by the city.
The protest followed a special meeting of about 4,000 blue collar workers at the Claude Robillard Centre.
The worker’s collective agreement is up in 2017.
