LRPS execute ‘high-risk’ search warrant; multiple arrests, gun seized

LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Regional Police Service tactical team executed a “high-risk” search warrant Tuesday night.

Police were on scene at a home in the 2700-block of 6th Avenue North. Multiple arrests were made and a firearm was seized from the residence.

Members of the Priority Crimes Unit and Patrol Operations carried out the operation. The Explosive Disposal Unit and K-9 Unit were also on scene. 

The public had been asked to stay away from the area, which was cleared just after 8:30 p.m.
