Global Okanagan reporters dance for charity

PENTICTON–Two Global Okanagan personalities boogied down in Penticton Saturday night, for a good cause.

Neetu Garcha and Angela Jung were “Dancing Like The Stars” at the OK Tire Snowball Fundraiser.

The reporters had just seven weeks to practice before their Street Jazz performance.

Seven teams competed, and the audience voted on the winners.

The better the dance, the more money is awarded to the team’s charity of choice.

While the top $1500 prize went to the “Pathways” program for people battling addictions, the Global Okanagan team still raised $500 for the South Okanagan Women in Need Society.
