The incident happened on British Airways flight 213 as the plane was traveling from London to Boston.

An earlier report by state police that the woman had attempted to open the cockpit door was inaccurate.

Live broadcast images showed the aircraft parked at a jetway at Boston Logan International Airport.

Police say the incident is not believed to be linked with terrorism.
