SASKATOON – Saskatoon police believe the culprit responsible for a string of armed robberies between Oct. 31 and Nov. 13 has been apprehended. The 21-year-old suspect is facing 20 charges.
Late Friday night, an officer spotted a man displaying suspicious behavior.
Police say there was evidence the man was responsible for an armed robbery that occurred earlier. At 10:35 p.m. CT, a man was reported to have entered a business in the 200-block of Betts Avenue with a handgun and robbed the staff inside.
As a result of the investigation, the 21-year-old man was arrested.

Police also laid charges against the man in connection with nine similar crimes around the city.
The accused is facing 20 charges including wearing a disguise while committing an indictable offense, armed robbery and attempted armed robbery. He is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court Monday.
