EDMONTON — A truck missed a turn and crashed into Edmonton’s river valley early Thursday morning.

Around 3:30 a.m. the red Chevrolet was driving north on Gateway Blvd., which ends at a “T” intersection at Saskatchewan Drive.

Instead of turning the truck drove straight, crashing through a lookout and bench before plunging into the North Saskatchewan river valley and stopping in a thicket of trees.

Four people were in the truck, and one of them was taken to hospital. Police said the injuries were not serious.
