Late night caffeine craving leads to ‘double double trouble’ after Tim Hortons break in

PARSBORRO, NS – Police say no doughnuts, or employees, were harmed when a 22-year-old broke into the Parsborro Tim Hortons early Sunday morning.

Cumberland Disctict RCMP responded to a complaint that a man was discovered inside the Tim Hortons when employees arrived to open the restaurant for the day at 4 a.m.

The man was trying to make himself a coffee and an iced cappuccino.

The employees called police, but the man left before police arrived.

He was arrested shortly after and is facing charges of break and enter and mischief.

Police say that the mess was cleaned up in time for business as usual of serving customers.
