RCMP seeking help in fatal Saskatchewan fire investigation

Mounties are turning to the public for help as they continue to investigate a fatal Saskatchewan fire. The structure fire happened on the evening of July 28, 2010 just east of Redvers along Highway 13.

The body of a woman was found in a shed by firefighters. An investigation into her death was launched by Carlyle RCMP, the major crime south unit and the Yorkton forensic identification section.

An autopsy confirmed the 40-year-old woman was a resident of the RM of Antler.

Her death is being treated as suspicious.

Investigators are now hoping to speak with anyone who may have travelled along Highway 13 that day between 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. CT.

They would also like to speak with anyone who may have taken photos or video at the time of the fire.
