WINNIPEG – “Trekkies”, Star Wars fans, and zombie lovers will be flocking to downtown Winnipeg this weekend for the annual “Comic Con”.
The three day event kicks off Friday night at the RBC Convention Centre celebrating sci fi and comic culture.

40,000 people are expected to walk through the doors with many dressed in costume.
Guests at the event include characters from Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
The original mighty morphin Power Rangers will also be there and they stopped by Global’s Morning News Friday.
