B.C. parks draw record number of visitors

KELOWNA–More people enjoyed camping in B.C. parks this summer season than ever before.

According to B.C.’s Ministry of Environment, more than 24 thousand additional reservations were made this year compared to 2014.

That’s a 19 per cent increase.

The latest numbers show that one-quarter of those visitors came from outside of the province.
