EDMONTON — St. Albert RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly made obscene gestures towards a teen girl in the Akinsdale area.
The incident happened on Aug. 10 between 2:05 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
RCMP said a 13-year-old girl was walking from the Attwood walking train to the parking lot at the Akinsdale arena where she saw a blue vehicle. The man inside the vehicle got out and made obscene gestures towards the girl, police said.
The suspect reportedly returned to his vehicle and began to inappropriately touch himself.
Police said the girl was not physically touched or harmed.
RCMP are searching for a Caucasian man believed to be in his early 20s. He is about 5’6″ to 5’8″ tall with a medium build and short, black hair.
