Man charged in Saskatoon, Delisle drug busts

SASKATOON – A man is facing trafficking charges following a drug bust. Members of the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team made the bust on Thursday.

Searches were made at a residence in the 200-block of Avenue J North and in Delisle.

Police said in total, they seized around 5.5 pounds of cannabis, 13 grams of cannabis resin and $4,700 in cash.

Three men were arrested. Two have been released with no charges being laid at this time.

A third man is facing several charges including possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis oil and proceeds of crime.

He is scheduled to appear Friday in Saskatoon provincial court.

Police say they continue to investigate and expect to make more arrests.
