MOOSE JAW, Sask. – A new $99.5-million hospital that was announced for Moose Jaw in 2009 is now fully operational.

The Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital is replacing the Moose Jaw Union hospital, which started moving equipment and emergency services over earlier this week.

The new hospital’s rooms are all private and the hospital will house an M-R-I machine and hyperbaric chamber.

A grand opening is set for November 6th for the hospital, which is named after the doctor and surgeon who served in Saskatchewan for 44 years.
