The case of a B.C. couple convicted of trying to bomb the legislature on Canada Day two years ago is back in court today.

Lawyers for John Nuttall and Amanda Korody will argue that police entrapped the pair, manipulating them into the plot.

The two were found guilty of designing and planting pressure cooker bombs in June. They were convicted of conspiracy to commit murder and possession of an explosive substance on behalf of a terrorist group.

But the conviction was put on hold while defence lawyers argue that their clients were entrapped in an elaborate police sting operation.
