$25K worth of new snowblowers stolen from Saskatoon business

SASKATOON – Be cautious if you’re buying a snowblower. Police say $25,000 worth of new snowblowers were stolen from a Saskatoon business over the Thanksgiving long weekend.

The theft happened at the business located in the 3900-block of Burron Avenue sometime between Oct. 9 and Oct. 14.

The suspects entered the compound and made off with 30 Ariens and Torro snowblowers still in their boxes.

In light of the theft, police are encouraging businesses to review security and consider increasing property lighting, alarms, or private security patrols.
