Harvest operations are almost complete in the province. According to the weekly Saskatchewan crop report, 91 per cent of the crop has now been combined.
That’s slightly below the five-year average of 93 per cent.
Producers in the southwest of the province are furthest along, with 96 per cent combined, while farmers in the northeast have 83 per cent combined.
Over 90 per cent of durum, barley and spring wheat are in the bin, while just over 60 per cent of canary seed and flax has been combined.

The strong winds on the weekend blew remaining swaths around and shelled out some of the standing crops.
Livestock producers say they have adequate amounts of hay, straw, greenfeed and feed grain for the winter.
