HALIFAX – It may not get “better than this” for some Atlantic Canadian cities this summer.
Rocker John Mellencamp is set to play five venues in the region between June 30 and July 9.
Mellencamp will bring his No Better Than This Tour to Summerside, Moncton, Sydney, St. John’s and Dartmouth as the 60-year-old rock legend crosses Canada.
The tour follows critical acclaim for his 2010 album of the same name.
“Over the course of the past two years, the tour has crisscrossed the United States, played dates in Ireland, England, Germany, France, Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland and Italy,” a statement on his official website says. He also brought the tour to 12 Canadian cities during that leg of the tour.
