MONTREAL – A man was injured after colliding with a truck near a roadwork site on the A-13.
The accident happened around 4 a.m. Thursday.
The driver was heading southbound on Autoroute 13 near the Autoroute 40 intersection when he hit the truck.
The truck had been positioned there intentionally to protect workers performing road repairs.

The jaws of life were needed to extract the driver from his vehicle.
He was transported to hospital to be treated for serious injuries to his lower body and his life is not in danger.
The accident forced the closure of the southbound A-13, causing major traffic in the area.
