Surprise: Vincent Lacroix pleads guilty

On the eve of a scheduled four-month-long criminal trial, failed financier Vincent Lacroix pleaded guilty Monday to nearly 200 charges of fraud, conspiracy to defraud, conspiracy to commit forgery, fabricating documents and money laundering for having swindled 9,200 investors in his now-bankrupt Norbourg Group of mutual funds out of $115 million.
