SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – The Atlantic Canada International Air Show will be held in Summerside, P.E.I., in August.
A number of private sponsors are joining the federal and provincial governments to support the air show at the Summerside Airport on Aug. 25 and 26.
Organizers say The Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels are confirmed participants in the show.
The federal and provincial governments are both spending $45,000 on the event.
Last year, hurricane Irene forced the cancellation of air displays during one day of the show.
