The Rockets ended their regular season this past weekend and on Sunday, several players were rewarded for their efforts.
Here is a list of the winners from the Rockets awards banquet:
Most Valuable Player – Brett Bulmer
Top defensive forward (Hollis Pearce award) – Colton Sissons

Plus-minus award – Tyson Baillie
Unsung hero – Tyrell Goulbourne
Humanitarian award – Adam Brown
Rookie of the year – (tie) Madison Bowey and Carter Rigby
Top scorer – Shane McColgan
Most improved player – Damon Severson
Top defenceman – Mitchell Chapman
Scholastic award – Colten Martin
Most sportsmanlike award – Zach Franko
The Rockets will play the Portland Winterhawks in the first round of the WHL playoffs on Friday and Saturday in Portland.
