PLASTER ROCK, N.B. – New Brunswick’s occupational safety agency is investigating a fatal industrial accident at a paper mill in Plaster Rock.
WorkSafeNB says a heavy-equipment operator died Wednesday when he was crushed while working at Twin Rivers Paper Company Inc.
The Crown agency did not release further details except to say the victim was a man in his 50s.
A stop-work order was issued and WorkSafeNB dispatched inspectors to the site.
