TORONTO – Police are seeking witnesses after several federal election campaign signs were reportedly set on fire in east-end Toronto overnight.

At least two signs were set ablaze while they were hanging from wooden fences located on Warden Avenue just south of Bamburgh Circle in Scarborough.

Emergency crews were able to extinguish the fire before it had spread to nearby homes.
