Expect street closures for Sunday’s Montreal marathon

MONTREAL – The 25th edition of the Montreal Rock’n’Roll marathon is set to start early Sunday morning and organizers are urging motorists to plan ahead.

The race starts at 8:30 a.m.  at Île-Sainte-Helène, with runners making their way to Parc Villeray and the Olympic Stadium, before heading to the finish line at Parc Lafontaine.

Many roads will be closed to traffic for the event, starting at 7:45 a.m. and will re-open Sunday afternoon.
