Police described the suspect as a man wearing a hoodie, who fled in a black Honda Civic heading south on Bathurst Street.

“It is too early to speculate as to what occurred or who specifically was involved. That said, Beck would like to reiterate that the safety of our riders and drivers is our top  priority,” said Beck Taxi Operations Manager Kristine Hubbard.

“To that end, we will work closely with Toronto Police Services to understand what  happened and who, if anyone, was impacted. Beck hopes for the best for all who may have been affected and is encouraging anyone with information about this incident to contact [police].”
