2 of 3 suspects sought in Central Tech stabbing surrender to police

TORONTO – Two of three suspects wanted in connection to a Toronto high school stabbing last week surrendered to police Wednesday morning.

Both individuals, a 17-year-old and a 20-year-old, presented themselves to officers at 14 Division and investigators say they face charges of assault, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, carry concealed weapon and weapons dangerous.

A third suspect is still at large but is also expected to turn himself in, police said.

“We anticipate an arrest of him shortly,” said Det. Jessica McGinnis during a press conference Wednesday.
