One of Vancouver’s most beloved parks is turning 75 and kicking off celebrations in style.

Visitors to Queen Elizabeth Park this weekend were treated to a free party marking its more than seven decades of history.

The event featured music, food trucks, pitch and putt and free admission to the Blodel Conservatory.

The park is among the city’s most popular, hosting up to six million visitors a year.
