Jilted students at Hudson driving school have right to refund: Option Consommateurs

HUDSON – The roughly 80 people who were taking driving classes with Aryo in Hudson have the right to get almost all their money back after the school abruptly closed its doors.

“They have two options,” said Sylvie De Bellefeuille with Option Consommateurs.

In the event students have started their courses already – as almost all have – De Bellefeuille said families have the right to get their money back, but only for classes they haven’t taken yet.

In that scenario, Aryo Driving School has the right to retain 10 per cent, or $50, of the reimbursement amount, whichever is less.

Revah is also Rosenblum’s uncle.

Earlier this week, Revah said he’d pay out $5 per student to study at his other school in Île-Perrot, but many parents said the offer wouldn’t work for them.
