WINNIPEG — Police have tracked down an escaped convict from the Headingley Correctional Centre. Patrolling officers spotted Levi Keegan Waldbilligh at Siloam Mission around around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon and arrested him without incident.
Tuesday night around 10:20 p.m. Headingley Correctional Centre called the RCMP to report an inmate had escaped from their facility.

His home community is Winnipeg.
The jail had not reported injuries to their staff. Police warned the public not to approach Waldbilligh and to immediately call 911 if they see him.
Several police officers assisted by the Winnipeg Police Service, Police Dog Services and Air One were involved in the search for Waldbilligh.
The search was focused near Portage Avenue and Highway 1 east of the Perimeter Highway. The Winnipeg Police Service is assisting.
