Coldbrook, N.S. — A large fire has destroyed a home in Coldbrook, Nova Scotia.
Fire crews were called to a home on Aaron Drive shortly before noon on Tuesday. The two storey house and it’s attached garage were engulfed in flames by the time first responders got to the scene.
Thick, black smoke could be seen for several kilometres while crews worked to get the blaze under control.
“One of the home owners, or residents of the home, arrived to find the house on fire,” said Scott Hamilton, Fire Chief.
There were no injuries as a result of the fire. Volunteer firefighters from several neighbouring departments helped to knock down the flames.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
