A 16-year-old boy from Arizona has been arrested after sending a student a threatening message on Snapchat.
The message read: “Planning the school shooting,” was followed by three smiley emoticons and a video of the boy’s crowded school hallway. It was anonymously sent to Kaylee, 16, who attends Northglenn High School in Colorado.
Even though the unidentified teen doesn’t know Kaylee, they both have each other on the popular social media app. When Kaylee received the post, she asked her mom if she should be concerned.

“I didn’t want to assume it was a joke because if I would have woken up today and seen that he really did shoot up a school, I know how bad I would have felt If I know I could possibly have stopped it,” Kaylee said to KUSA News.
Phoenix police arrested the 16-year-old male who told authorities it was a prank.
